  • A potato scone is an authentic Scottish recipe made with potatoes. They are usually fried or grilled. Can be eaten warmed with butter.
  • Hash browns are crisp golden patties of potatoes.
  • Black pudding is a blood sausage a recipe traditionally brought from Germany by pork butchers who settled in Scotland.

Your choice for breakfast can be served with any or all of the menu selections listed below, prepared and cooked in the way you wish.

  • Full Scottish breakfast (eggs prepared to your liking, bacon, sausage, blackpudding, kippers, haggis, omelette, porridge, beans, fried potato, hash browns, fried bread, pancakes, tomato and mushrooms)
  • Vegetarian breakfast (eggs prepared to your liking, porridge, veg sausage, beans, fried potato, omelette, hash browns, tomato and mushrooms)
  • Continental breakfast (croissant, cheese, pate, cooked ham and tomato)
  • Toasted Waffles (A waffle is made from flour, sugar and egg.
    An American tradition, usually served topped with bacon, eggs and maple syrup. Can be served on its own as a sweet toastie. )

The Buffet Table is set with cereals, museli, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cheese, preserved fruit and fruit juices.
